The
Hotel Intercontinental Berlin is a terrific,
five-star hotel located near the Potsdamer
Platz. Not only does the hotel have some of
the largest rooms in the city (the standard
double double measures about 30 square
meters), but the hotel's dining and nightlife
options are wonderful. The highlight is the
Zum Hugenotten restaurant which was awarded 17
points by the Gault-Milau guide and the
Marlene Bar, a tribute to Marlene
Dietrich.

Charlie) which has information about the
creation of the Berlin Wall and the tools used
by those trying to scale it.
The
Potsdamer Platz is one of the city's main
attractions and is the hub of a lot of tourist

companies such as Sony and Mercedes Benz are

blend industry and commerce.
Museumsinsel,
which means Museum Island, is a collection of
some of Berlin's greatest museums. It's the
oldest complex of its nature in Germany and is
anchored by four of the nation's top museums
including the Nationalgalerie, Altes Museum,
the Pergamonmuseum and the Bodesmuseum.
